Social Potpourri approached me to write about "something". Something, which has never been published by me before. Something that is new and fresh. You see it is just that, something is what I am having a hard time with!
Something they say, a word that is abstract and inconclusive. Something, which neither has a beginning nor an ending. A word that comes with suppositions that can or are endless in nature.
When I am unable to remember a name of an object then I replace it by something. If I cannot describe an emotion I use something to describe that unknown feeling.
Something is an entity. An object, a thought or an article, which exists, yet, is non-existent.
It means something to me but another to you. Something is a word that we play on, a word that is carelessly used not only by myself but also by others as well.
All I know is that this is post is about something yet nothing. Something that is meaningful yet is not. Something that is of substance yet inconsequential. Something that makes sense yet is without any.
The word something is underrated but packs a punch. It can be inconsequential in nature yet at the same time it reflects importance or a sense of urgency. Something festers like a stubborn itch yet with some due diligence it can cool that soreness bringing relief.
Something conjures up a sense of lightness, a smile or a sparkle. Children break out in laughter at the sound of something. That which is too funny to describe or say is replaced by that very word something!
"I experienced something that changed my life" - an incident that reflects a deep spiritual experience. An incident that is powerful and hard to relate to others will undoubtedly include the word something in it.
Something new and different is what I have tried to create. Something that I hope would stir a little something within you. Something that is about so much yet really is about nothing.
