I’ll keep this short and crisp. Somewhere in between waking up and going to sleep I am a husband, a son and a father that is just trying to keep his “To do” lists under control. I don’t Facebook but that doesn’t mean I’m not social. On the contrary, what excites me the most about Socialpotpourri.com is that we are trying to create a social network that gives you something that you can use both online and offline. We want to create a space that you control and not be a prisoner of. My special interest on this network is the Meet Ups where our goal is to develop meaningful networks through events with likeminded people. Go ahead and register to check it out
Personally, I have too many interests for my own good. I like to mix it up with music, politics, art, sports and pop culture although I spend the day talking mostly about corporate finance. I have an opinion on everything which doesn’t always help. I am still trying to figure out the right balance online of diplomacy and directness and would appreciate anyone’s wisdom in the matter. In my dreams I am a professional poker player. (more) |

Deviyani Pathak
This is Deviyani Pathak. I am currently employed as a Special
Educator. I have done my post graduation in two areas of
specialization, M.Sc in Specific Learning Difficulties (with my
specialization in Dyslexia) from England and M.Sc in Psychotherapy and
Counselling (correspondence) from India. I've also done my
certification in training parents, teachers and adolescents for
dealing with adolescents and their associated problems. As a passion
I've persuaded certification as a hand writing analyst. It's been five
and a half years of me teaching, assessing and formulating IEPs
(Individualized Educational Plan) for children with all kinds of
difficulties both physical and cognitive. The difficulties experienced
by children varied from learning difficulties, to the autism spectrum
and cerebral palsy. The age group also spread across a wide spectrum
from 2 to 40. My work is my passion and it's been a wonderful
experience growing and learning with my children (as I address all my
students). Each day brings with it a new experience to learn from. And
I choose to keep learning from them, with them and for them.

Kriti Mukherjee
Just another Happy Girl – marketing consultant, mother of an angel,
wife of a hunk, daughter of an inseparable couple. I am just another
girl – a girl whose life is led by her gargantuan thirst for life and
enriching experiences.
There are a few factors that make me- Imagination, experiences, imagination, a bottomless pit for love, imagination, some pain and tons of joy and then some more imagination. Yes I am driven not by this world but a subsequent parallel to it – where things happen as I want them to. I am God there and shape destinies. I am ruthless to some and kind to others. My characters look up to me sympathetically and reverentially – as opposed to this world. Goes without saying, I inhabit my parallel universe much more leading to substantial disarray and confusion in this one. (more) |

Sulekha
Hi, I am Sulekha aka Lucks and I love life. I WRITE…My life is my
Muse and my Muse is my life. I am a daughter, sister, wife, mother,
friend and writer, all rolled up into a complicated package
called,’Me’. I try not to let my writing affect my everyday routine,
but it does. Writing, consumes, it challenges, it throws my life out
of gear and makes everyday interesting and worth living.I haven’t
unraveled all the intricate layers of life yet, but am getting there.I
embrace friends and their pain becomes mine, their joys make me happy.
I can’t detach myself from those I care about and it hurts me at
times, but it’s all an integral part of who I am. I sing off-key,
dance with two left feet and enjoy each and every moment of life. Life
is interesting and challenging but I wouldn’t have it any other way
because, “Life is for living”.I greatly enjoy movies and music. Books
are my passion.I love reading and writing about the Sun, Moon, Sea,
Love, Life, relationships, food, clothes……anything and everything
under the Sun and above it too. I tweak my writing with humor because
a life without some laughs in it is a sad one. My family are my
biggest critics and fans too. Hope to share my stories with you all
for a long time.
