| I must say that I would prefer a gym any day because Gym would keep me focused and disciplined. Working out at home may seem worthwhile but it is very hard to maintain it for a considerable length of time. I have done it and have failed miserably. | ||

| agreed, and sometimes people say that in group you can only do what the group does. like pilates, kick boxing and aerobics etc. but, what they don't realize is that even then either your placed in a group where you fit nearly and not completely to make you go that extra step. and in cases like kick boxing it's generally, divided into sub-groups or pairs which are compatible in terms of technique, stamina and strength again nearly and not completely. | ||

| I would prefer the gym any day. For one, you get guidance from professionals and experts. Second, the ambiance, the music, the noise and the sheer atmosphere full of sweat varied deodorants is amazingly inspiring and motivating! Plus, i get of the sadistic pleasure when i see my friends squinting! | ||

| @Karl, It boils down to willpower in the end. I guess I have to keep myself motivated to workout, thanks for your input. @Kriti, appreciate your response. I am trying to keep the towels off the treadmill but am losing the battle already :) | ||

| I would give it the respect it deserves even at home but I had a treadmill at home at point and I know what you mean when you say they turn into towel stands! It nearly went that way for me. An interesting discussion this.. | ||

| Opinions differ, what matters is that you should have the will power to stick to the workout routine, be it at home or at the gym. | ||
