Cheerleaders dancing in the Studio during the Extra Innings T20 .

IPL is on and so many of us are glued to our television sets, watching our favorite teams play.I have a question for all you cricket fans, Do you think the cheerleaders should dance in the studio during Extra Innings t20. It looks odd to see them in their cheer-leading outfits, cheering the gentlemen discussing the game.

I'm sorry that I didn't catch thread of discussion before I wrote my response. I entirely agree with Sulekha that it must look odd to watch a group of girls flexing and jumping in cheer leading outfits in the confines of a studio (won't someone swoon?). If they should cheer, they should be out there in the field doing what they do best.

I think I live in the deepest forest of my mind, to not have read or heard or even seen a combination of Cheerleaders and Cricket. I don't know why, please forgive me, but I just can't warm up to the idea of cheer leading inside studios. Are they also equipped with sashes and all? and micro minis too?

@Kriti, thanks for clearing up things. @Sheril, I am not saying the cheerleaders shouldn't be there during the IPL matches but that they should't be dancing in the STUDIO...before the actual match begins. There is no need for them to be there at the extra innings discussions. I think you misunderstood the question.

Sheril I don't think Sulekha was setting out to change anything. Bollywood is a place where outfits are supposed be the way they are to entertain. On a sports arena, however, clothes are not priority you see. Bollywood and Cricket maybe the two biggest entertainers in India but a comparison between the two suffers in disparity. Don't you think? I don't have a problem with the cheerleaders either but I can totally see why one might.

How it looks odd ?? i dono why you use that word ? IPL creates lots of business opp for lots of people .If we like a team our full conc ll be there on the team only not cheerleaders. Your talking about their outfits right ?? i m sorry to say this first ban Bollywood then it ll be right !! discussing these thing doesn't gonna change anything

I don’t have any problem with women spicing up sport….. men like sport and they like women… different strokes for different folks. I have a problem with how weak the studio discussions are. Its just lazy to throw in a bunch of girls to make up for the lack of IQ. Too much cricket anyway.

I really don't have an opinion about it either way. Cheerleaders have been part and parcel of games like basket-ball, football, soccer etc for as long as the games have existed I think. Don't see anything wrong with them being a part of cricket now. However, if you look them as a distraction or feel your feminism attacked in any way I wouldn't blame you either.
